Teachers’ react to our March 2025 virtual workshops
In March, GUTSY’s trainers shared insights on how teaching character in classrooms impacts student behavior with 80 educators from eight schools across Guyana.
The workshops were held during the Schools Principals’ Staff Development sessions, replacing the evening training that the organization initially offered for teachers participating in GUTSY’s program. This change attracted more teachers’ attention during the school day.
We Are GUTSY, Inc. was established in late 2018 by Guyanese living in the diaspora and now includes educators and administrators from Jamaica and the United States. Their mission is to coach and mentor children in Guyana, helping them develop conduct and behavior that enable them to grow into responsible adults.
