Meet Ciara Abraham of Malgre Tout Primary, our first CHARACTER Champion.
Ciara was recognized through We Are GUTSY, Inc.’s CHARACTER Champions initiative, which celebrates students in Guyana who are not only learning the CHARACTER PILLARS, but showing real growth in how they live them.
Ciara shared that learning about the PILLARS has helped her become more thoughtful, caring, and responsible.
“They guide my choices every day and I am proud of the positive changes I have made. The PILLARS have helped me understand how important my actions are and how they affect those around me.”
That is what this work is all about.
Helping children build character they can carry into their classrooms, their homes, their friendships, and their futures.
